Calling it, Nono. He'll overachieve with this team.
I hope I'm wrong, though. Nothing would be please me more than to see the Lakers get smashed in the 1st round, but what Brown did in Cleveland with only James and a bunch of scrubs has me believing he'll work some kind of magic with this Lakers team, which is far, far more talented.
Like I said, his approach looks like in the reg. season, but that grind it out style of his will produce results in the playoffs.
Now, you're covered no matter what happens.
Chicken .
Even I have a much higher shooting percentage than Kobe.
He picked the wrong star though... in Cleveland, Lebron was the clear cut best player. Young and only getting better. Still coachable.
Kobe isn't it.
Wgaf who the coach is. Your superstars either put the ball in the basket or they don't. It's really that ing simple, and always has been.
Bynum is the superstar. That he doesn't get the ball enough it's entirely on the coach.
No I'm not. I think the Lakers will give whichever team they play in the 2nd round a hard fought 6/7 games series, whereas the Brown detractors think they'll get beaten in the 1st round or dominated in the 2nd.
Meh, I was wanting the Lakers to win tonight. They were doing good until they stopped moving the ball.
Yeah, I get the schtick. Kobe is a superstar too...if you lead a league with LBJ, Wade, Durant, Rose, and Howard in scoring, then you're a superstar, I don't care if you shoot Iverson percentages. When he shoots well the Lakers almost always win...when he doesn't, they usually don't. Once again, pretty cut and dry. Kobe came out gunning cause he could smell the menstrual flow of a certain teammate of his tonight.
It isn't tonight... One guy is shooting 57% for the season... the other is shooting 42% and a meager 28% from downtown...
I get Kobe might not like to be option #2, but the coach should know better.
This years Lakers team reminds me of 2003's.
They'll just get smashed in 2nd round by SA again
Sessions?
Nah, his hymen tore tonight. Gasol, otoh, had another fresh flow, per the usual.
Cool, MB didn't cost his team a series yet either.
Your coach did, by inexplicably playing Manu the last game of the season (when he sat the game before), then refused to give Splitter minutes over Bonner till it was too late.
There, now THAT'S coaching. I guess bad coaching is a worry after all![]()
That's gonna go over like a fart in church.
MB didn't get swept in the Finals? Lebron has a ring?
If you want to talk Pop vs MB history, we can talk as long as you want.
If you want to talk about this season, then we can get back on topic. But I can see where you don't really want to.![]()
Aside from Baby Drew, Lakers seem to have many issues with their genitalia. Kobe's like a once great lothario, now past his physical prime, violently jerking his in the hope of achieving an erection to prove to himself he can still please the ladies without pharmaceutical aid. And even when the skin is chafed and bloody, it still doesn't stifle his determination.
So the Spurs beat the Cavs in the Finals because their coach was better? Is this really where you're going?
Your pock-faced hero etched the Spurs in infamy with his wildly stupid decisions at the end of last season. That scar will never go away.
losing with a 22 y/o LBJ and 11 nobodies to a team with a championship core and you're trying to blame the coach.
Well said
Yep. Pop seemed to lose all common sense last year.
