Don't tell that to 49ers fans. They think this is the 2008 version of Jacobs.

I'm actually really bummed about this. I know he is way over the hill and couldn't convert a third and one to save his life, but I was hoping he'd retire a Giant. The 49ers were his team growing up so I wish him all the best, except when he plays the Giants.

... Honestly though I don't see how he makes it out of training camp unless they carry 4 RBs

    Haha, your so ruined

He will be our 3rd String RB, he was your backup RB

This means the Niners will probably wait til next year to use a high draft pick on Gore's replacement. So look for the Niners to go WR & Oline in the first 2 rounds

Don't worry about NewCastleKEG. He thinks Alex Smith is good enough for the 49ers to win it all.

By grabbing their #3 WR and washed up 2nd-string RB?

Niners proved they were the superior team last year, (2 matchups +4) so this should only help

No, they didn't. They lost the NFCCG in their own backyard and couldn't convert one 3rd down all game (when it mattered). Giving up the go-ahead TD on a 3rd and 15 is pretty embarrassing too.

And so do I as would anyone else who knows the NFL. Trent Dilfer won a Superbowl. Take a look at all those so so QB that played in the Superbowl. David Woodley???
Trent Dilfer won a SB with the greatest defense to ever play and Jamal Lewis and Priest Holmes in the backfield. Most importantly, he beat Kerry ing Collins in the SB

2000 was a tremendously weak year, as was 2002. Just look at the top teams' QBs those years

Dude, he gave you a stat, son. And tbh, Collins set the bar incredibly low in that SB... was it 5 picks? Hard to think of a worse performance in the SB.

The teams played twice last season....... Niners +4

The numbers don't lie. Why is this so difficult for you to comprehend?

What was the final score of the NFCCG?

Why is this so difficult for you to accept?
