let me break it down for you. i'll type slowly so you can have a better chance of understanding:

1. you are getting free sex, all the time, with love, from a girl (or guy, whatever's clever imho).
2. why would you NOT marry her?
3. if you have something against 'marriage' (like recalcitrant hipsterdom), then why would you not stick with this girl for ever? i.e. be in a common law marriage (as defined by the great state of Texas)
4. if for all practical purposes you are married, then why not have a party to celebrate it?

in other words, if you don't recognise you've got a good thing going, and lock that down, then you're stupid

Locking down as in you're your wife . When you get married, all that you possess is your spose to have. If you cheat on her, she'll make it so your live is a financial disaster, if you divorce her she'll make it so you regret it for the rest of your life.
