Yesterday, Payton was a guest on some Canadian sport talk show, and when asked about one of his former coaches, Paul Westphal, he said:

" He didnt know what he was doing; he didnt have a clue; sometimes, during timeouts he would ask me: Gary, what plays should we run ? "
