After a seven-game absence because of a shin injury, Kobe Bryant will play Friday when the Los Angeles Lakers face the San Antonio Spurs (9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN).
But Bryant didn't waste his time on the bench, earning the nickname "Coach Kobe" by all but grabbing the clipboard from Mike Brown and instantly getting frustrated with Andrew Bynumblown away by Andrew Bynum's impressive play.
So where did Bryant learn all his moves? Phil Jackson, duh. And this is not just conjecture. Playbook has uncovered some irrefutable visual evidence that Coach Kobe is indeed a Coach Jackson clone.
Those moves:
Pointing
Sitting quizzically.
Folding arms.
Asking for five of something.
Laughing.
Shrugging and throwing up hands while glaring.
... and getting frustrated by Ron Artest/Metta World Peace.
