"I don't need ACLS, why does he?!?"
Torn ACL. The way Rose plays, is it safe to say he will never be the same player again?
"I don't need ACLS, why does he?!?"
karma for being a gangbanging cheater i guess
If he took the SATs properly he woulda answered the question regarding injury prevention![]()
Not necessarily and it all really depends on how badly damaged his knee is. Initially he won't be as explosive as he was before the injury but he is young and it is not out of the realm of possibility that he can comeback as the player he once was.
Nah, Blair definitely needs them.
You mean done like Brandon Roy? Maybe...
Any player that came back the same after an ACL injury before? Didn't Amare also had a torn ACL?
Poor guy, was supposed to be the golden boy of the east.
I know David West, Bernard King right off hand. Also Qunicy Miller from Baylor.
Damn: Danny Manning and Baron Davis too.
All trolling aside, this sucks, as I have followed Rose's career since he was in HS and really hope he can return to being the same player.

No. He certainly won't be the same next year. Rehab will take at least 6 months and 6 months from now is the start of the 12/13 season.

The Rise and Fall of Derrick Rose
the bulls just not that good imho, teams built round a PG ain't supposed to win championships and it's definitely great news for them bulls this little nig is done before he signs a lucrative extension that he would otherwise get
Didn't he already sign?
Amen, bum. Guy was a monster in Hs just not in the classroom. But Op has a point though his skill level is high, unlike CP3 his athleticism is what made Rose truly special without it he will be still very good but MVP level May be gone
now maybe he can go back to gangbanging and selling drugs![]()
STAT had microfracture surgery, IIRC, which had derailed guys even more dramatically than a busted ACL. Rose will be back but his days as an MVP are likely done. If the Bulls offense has to lean on him going forward he could go the way of Brandon Roy.
Roy's problem was meniscus, so it's a whole different ballgame tbh. Inner meniscus is completely dead tissue and thus can never heal unless it's a small tear on the outside (which does get blood flow).
