Close this out, LA. Nevermind the one game that MWP will miss. Getting rest for OKC will be vital. Besides, LA only needs to steal one in Oklahoma City.

Probably for the best, another plane trip, another practice session, another day off for OKC

They need to win this because it's going to be thrice harder trying to close out at the Pepsi Center.

If Mcgee were to seriously hurt a laker tonight, would he be suspended and be blamed?

I think we would all understand since he's a re and all.

If you could guarantee me that they'd win game 6 in Denver, then I'd say just tank this game to get MWP back immediately for Game 1 in Round 2.

But of course, there are no guarantees, and Kobe needs to play as little games as possible to stay fresh.

Yeah, he's much too simple-minded to be held accountable.

Yeah best just to wrap it up tonight I guess. Just got to hope OKC comes out cold in game 1 for us to have a chance

Not to mention with all these injuries in the playoffs, best just to end it quick as possible

"Close-out games are actually kind of easy," Bynum said. "Teams tend to fold if you come out and play hard in the beginning, so we want to come out and establish an early lead and protect it."
    Now walk the talk, s.

He must have been speaking out of experience, like how the Lakers folded against Dallas last year. Tee, hee.
