+Would not be surprised at all to see the 2011-2012 NBA Champion Spurs visit the White House; and President Obama, as a past collegiate player and big fan, does surely know a thing or two about basketball and probably much more than many of the hacks on the major media outlets.

Actually, Buss is a stingy bas from what I've heard. Sterling has more cash than he does.

If Buss is stingy, he has a funny way of showing it. $87.8M on salaries this year plus however much luxury tax ($18M?), and their payroll has topped $90M several times in the past.

And @ calling Buss stingy but insinuating that Sterling isn't. Sterling's one of the biggest penny-pinchers out there. Example: hiring Del Negro because the Bulls still owed him money, even though he's a terrible coach.

Sterling is cheap but that's a horrible example. When a previously fired coach gets hired by a new team his old team doesn't have to pay him the duration of what they still owe.

That's why Terry Porter didn't take any assistant coaching jobs while the Suns were paying off the rest of his salary.

I thought the Bulls would pay what the Clippers didn't. Like if VDN was set to make $2M this year, and the Clippers offered him $500k, then the Bulls would pay the rest. From VDN's point of view it doesn't matter, because he's getting the same $2M no matter what.

Did Bush ever tell us his picks for the NBA playoffs? I mean seriously, how big is Obama's ego? The man goes on The View to talk about the most important issue in the history of humanity which is gay marriage and then gives us insight on the NBA playoffs. How does this guy do it?

Sure, Bush's ego was probably huge too but at least he wasn't as much of a media and attention like Obama is. Obama seriously still wants people to in like him. Bush was hated by millions and didn't give a . Bush was a joke of a president but I respected him for his whole "I don't give a " at ude.
