LARP talk is only for those that are real and dedicated. I got tired of those pretending to be LARPers and of those that didn't understand it so they made fun of it.
I actually quit that . It was fun for a while but the more I thought about it, the more I couldn't figure out what the point was. Ok, so we won a LARP battle...so what. I still had to get up the next day and go to work. I'm sure you could say this about a lot of hobbies but I couldn't justify the time and money spent. And it's strange, now that I'm not involved in it, I can look at it and see how silly it all really is.
That's because you lost focus. Oh well, that's not what this thread was about.
Pot meet kettle. tbh, your lack of cooperation had a lot to do with me "losing focus". If it was too inconvenient, then you should have just said so instead of letting me think you were cool with picking me up or loaning me some gear.

i actually used to go to school with a dude who larped. he was really in serious about it too. brought his homemade armor to show everyone at school and participated in compe ions...mind he was a senior in high school...
