Shaq is smart enough he also knows the game. But I question his work ethic at least the type required for a job like GM. Plus Shaq can be small and petty his beef with David and Dwight being prime examples ..
Plus he has 7 or 8 kids with different chicks most business owners won't give a position with that much responsibility to a guy so casual with planting his seeds.

You've got to be kidding. Shaq is dumb as . Watch 2 episodes of TNT, not only does he have a low IQ but he's 100% unprofessional. I'm not saying he could do worse than Otis Smith but I'd literally pick people off this message board before I picked Shaq. And Dwight's leaving no matter who comes to Disney World so then the Magic will have Shaquille ing O'Neal as their braintrust. You may as well just break the team up and have a supplemental draft for the 4 players who would make an NBA squad.

Dont confuse Shaq's mumbling monotone responses as lack of IQ. Shaq I have despised for his lack of work ethic, pettiness etc. But dude is far from dumb. Do i think he will be a ty GM? Yes. But not because he is not smart enough just because he has not shown to me that he has the type of work ethic or committment to do a job that is so hands on. Also he was childish with his negotiations with Buss.
And yes he sucks on TNT ... Webb wa sthe best out of the guys recently but I think they should stick with 3 ...
