Mavs snuck one in and you're trying to legride the other two...
lol Xanax Annex.
You have to admit that it was a damn in' excellent run for these three teams. RIP Texas-California Western Conference dominance (1999-2011)![]()

Dallas had LA's number (even though it was just one series)
LA had Spurs' number
Spurs had Dallas' number
All of them had Phoenix' number
Lakers will be back soon. They'll heist some re ed franchise for a wealth of talent.
LMAO all of them had Phoenix's number. So true, so true.
Maybe you should do a bit more "legriding" of the teams that have actually won a championship in the past five years.
4 rings, got seems like an appropriate response to this.
Spurs and Lakers owned the past decade. Mavs are right there with the Heat, Celtics and the Pistons tbh.
Meh, all 3 should reach the western semis next year, which nearly guarantees that one will be in the WCF. All three still have reasons to be optimistic (Bynum could finally mature a little more, Kawhi Leonard can better his offensive game, and Dallas will certainly add a piece or two with their cap space). They aren't ready to be leapfrogged by Denver, Utah, or the Clippers. Memphis will be a problem though.
I don't think so. While LA has the pieces to make some moves, Dallas has nothing. I'm afraid we are done.
I hope we get a reliable back up point. That TJ Ford injury really came back to us when it mattered the most.
Cap space will net you something.
RIP, tbh... I can see the Lakeshow throwing the checkbook at Harden, tbh
The Mavs were the only other Western team to make the Finals, and they were also the only other team to beat a reigning champion Spurs or Lakers (06, 11) beside those two when they were fully healthy (I don't count Phx beating a Duncan-less Spurs in 2000). So yes, they clearly deserve a mention. Out of all the other pretenders in the west, the Suns and Kings being the two prime candidates, the Mavs were the only other team to break the duopoly and do it twice.
yeah but adding deron williams and losing jet plus dirk and marion getting older is only a lateral move at best. and now i'm hearing that deron may not even come here. i don't think there is a possible move/combination of moves out there that puts us in contention, ever again in the dirk era sadly enough.
should try reverting to the 11' squad imho, TC ain't enjoying his life in NY i think if they can make a deal with NY and get this back, they're stacked again.
Javale McGee blocks shots, tbh![]()
Would have been a great Mavs-Spurs WCF had the right moves been made last year.
dallas will probably continue to dominate when they get DH & Deron to complete the Triple D
Congratulations on the Spurs most recent championship from five years ago. Here you go:

In all honesty, these three will still be in contention. Cuban isn't stupid enough to just let the Mavs die without trying to revive them. The Mavs will definitely get pieces this off season. The Lakers is the more difficult one to figure out because Bynum is definitely the the piece that doesn't fit yet they are trying to force him there. Lakers could get a good mature player for him and you know Kobe can make his teammates better. Spurs.......well, they are the new Mavericks: great season team that fumbles in the playoffs so they'll be there too I guess.
Technically they were never made, Stern had this series on lock the second the Spurs won game 3 against the Clippers
and what pieces are they going to get? have you realistically thought about this? the addition of deron williams while losing jason terry doesn't exactly put us into contention.
