This is my opinion.
I think Rubio has some skeletons in his closet to some degree (money troubles).
I also don't like the fact that he hasn't even completed his first term as a senator; at least it's better to have him in the VP slot than as President, though.
I'm sorry, but that case has been presented multiple times in this forum by blue team members. I just can't specifically remember who and have no intention of researching it. You might want to search "rubio" or some other search terms if you are interested in putting forum names to negative Rubio opinions.

I don't think Hillary wants the job. I think she like the job she has.
Just my opinion however. No more important to anyone as yours is.
He can't possibly have as many as I do. And I don't have very many.
I personally don't like the idea that any politician can campaign while being paid.
I think all politicians should resign any current government position they have if the are are going to campaign for another.
How many people who hold real jobs can take that much time off work to campaign for an elected position? Will civilian firms pay them while they are away from work?
Don't count Condi Rice out. She has more VP and POTUS potential than Rubio will ever have.

Rubio's popularity in a crucial swing state is far more important than Rice's experience/potential.
I don't see Rubio getting the VP nod at this time.

John Boehner: '1 In 3 Chance' Republicans Lose Control Of House
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) admitted there's a "1 in 3" chance that the Republicans will lose their majority in the House of Representatives in an interview Tuesday on Fox News' "America’s Newsroom."
"I would say that there is a 2 in 3 chance that we win control of the House again. But there’s a 1 in 3 chance that we could lose. And I’m being myself, frank, we’ve got a big challenge and we’ve got work to do," he said to Fox News' Bill Hemmer.
Expanding on tough races, Boehner said, "We have 50 of our members in tough races; 89 freshmen running for their first re-elections. And we have 32 districts that are in states where there is no presidential campaign going to be run, no big Senate race and we call these orphan districts."
He went on, "You take 18 of them -- California, Illinois and New York, where you know we’re not likely to do well at the top of the ticket -- and those districts are frankly pretty vulnerable."
Boehner also dismissed top Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod's comment on Sunday that House Republicans are under a "reign of terror" brought about by the far right of their party. "That that is just outrageous talk," Boehner said. "They’re trying to make this election, as I said earlier, about anything other than the president’s failed economic policies. And so they’re going to look for every boogeyman known to man," he said.
"Listen, if Republicans were walking in lockstep, my job would be a whole lot easier," he added.

Jon Stewart discussed Monday evening the job that no one currently desires to have in the Republican Party: Mitt Romney’s vice presidential running mate.
The Comedy Central host played a montage of different figures in the party, from Tim Pawlenty to Sarah Palin, who have immediately declined being the former Massachusetts governor’s running mate. Even the suppose frontrunners for the spot, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) publicly recommended someone else instead.
“Why does being Romney’s vice president now seem like a dare no one wants to take?” Stewart asked. “‘Eat a plate of my own . No no no, you eat it.’”

Just heard Rubio give a foreign policy speech on Sirius/XM POTUS. I was wildly underwhelmed. He sounded like a high-school student reading a speech. He actually lost the last page and had to stop and ask an assistant for it.
That said, people don't vote for VP's.

Considered a top candidate for the vice presidential spot on the Republican ticket this fall, Rubio won his Senate seat from Florida in 2010 in a race against independent candidate Charlie Crist and Democrat Kendrick Meek.
In a settlement with the Federal Election Commission, the Rubio campaign acknowledged receiving the improper contributions and paying a civil penalty of $8,000. The FEC describes the $210,000 as "prohibited, excessive and other impermissible contributions."
The FEC and the Rubio campaign reached the agreement in March. The release of the information on the FEC website was first reported Friday by Politico.

I received a fascinating e-mail last night. It’s from a political insider who asked to remain anonymous. This person had a few questions for candidate for U.S. Senate, Marco Rubio, and his aide (and lobbyist) Amber Stoner.
I have previously posted about the investigations of Marco Rubio. All our Rubio posts can be found here.
Now, per another source who lives in Florida, there are ethics rules that cover lobbyists who work for candidates. She says they shouldn’t. But that wasn’t what this e-mail was about:
Who IS this Amber Stoner? Why would Rubio have a healthcare lobbyist’s travel on his credit charges? And why do the two of them seem to show up in the same place (some resort towns) the same day or within a day or two of each other? Can Rubio explain why she travels for him? with him? There are 17 trips by this Amber Stoner on Rubio’s credit charges within this database which is not complete, and to get ALL his credit card records would require a court order but I’ll bet if someone got that court order they would find more entries of Ms. Stoner’s travels. Just what is going on here between Rubio and Stoner? Is this appropriate for the “Family Values” Tea Party candidate?
