What I don't understand is that Cuban keeps saying "I understand the new CBA, you don't." Well since the new CBA makes it harder to lure free agents away from their original teams if the original team decides to offer the max, and there was never any doubt the Nets were going to do that, why did they even bother crafting their strategy over trying to lure Williams home?
