Nashball
David Aldridge @daldridgetnt As @WojYahooNBA pointed out, Lakers came hard after Bell last year. And source points out that Bell's best friend in the NBA is..Steve Nash.
How many players are the Lakers moving to create new ones for the newcomers?
Seems like every day some player in joining the Lakers.
New Laker motto: "Give me your tired, your old, your bags yearning to get playing time..."
Seems like the easiest way to join the lakers these days is to become friends with Nash. First Hill, now Bell.
The best way to become a Laker is to start some with Kobe.![]()
Lakers only have like 8-9 players under contract.
any born after 1980 need not apply
raja bell blows, id rather take the other fossil grant hill
^ Is Grant Hill calling though?
I think Jack Mccalum should write a book on the upcoming Lakers season led "23 secs or less".
Calling it: The Lakers will have a top 7 Offensive Rating but dead last in pace.
solid defensive player who'll provide cover for kobe and MWP
Dont want. We need runners and shooters he provides neither. still a decent defender but Barnes was Ok and is a much better cutter than Bell. Pass.
with nash running the point you need someone defensive-minded to cover up his ass and make up for his absence at defensive end
We do, but we dont want someone that teams will leave wide open to double the post or Kobe. We need someone that can defend AND shoot and can get out on the break. I like the Nash signing, i just question how he fits with our current roster and coach. You dont get Nash and turn him in to a half-court spot up shooter. Grant Hill though old is a good fit, Brandon Rush would make sense as well. Decent defenders that can move and score ...
Metta will take care of Nash on the Defensive end and i predict MWP will have his best year as a Laker (That's if he's not traded).
