That looks horrible. It takes 700-800 degrees to properly cook a pizza.
Can't wait for some drunk bas to accidentally take a bite out of his Redbox case or try to shove his pizza in the DVD player.

Say What?![]()
That pizza had like no sauce.
That's the temperature you need to get that great NY style crust. That's why the frozen pizzas from the grocery still all taste like .
Try a pizza stone.
what the are you talking about? I worked at 2 pizza places when I was in high school and both places ovens were always around 500
And were those places called "Domino's" and "Pizza Hut"? Just because you have experience making ty pizza doesn't mean you suddenly know what it takes to make good pizza. BB is right, the top notch places in NYC use ovens that get from 800-1000 degrees.
youre a pizza delivery guy?
kowabunga dude!
ROFL "I made pizza at Cici's so I know what I'm talking about!"
Think about it…If you had an oven at 800 to 1000 degrees the employee putting pizzas in & out of the oven would need to wear special safety gear…Even if you had a platter that reached five feet your eye brows could get singed…That being said only wood burning ovens get that hot and that is inside the fire box…The cooking side is plenty hot at 500 degrees…1000 degrees would burn all of the toppings before the crust got cooked…
Mono, I've always liked you, always considered you a top notch poster, and I've always been certain that we could drink beers and enjoy football in a bar environment.....but you will shut your mouth about Domino's. That is good nowadays.
I don't know about "good" -- it's certainly better than it was.
Chump, same with you. One of my favorite posters, but just stop right there.
It's ing good. I don't care what anyone says, I'm right and everyone else that disagrees with me is wrong.
I'm putting my foot down on this subject. End of discussion.
Barf. Reminds me of the "EXTRA BIG ASS FRIES" machine from Idiocracy.
Also, that is an entertaining movie. Not open for discussion.
Real italian pizza is baked in a wood burning owen. If you've ever been in an Italian pizzeria you will notice that when the cook adds a log into the owen where there is no flames - just amber - it will auto ignite. The autoignition point of wood is 300 deg. C or 575 deg. F. Judging by the size of the logs and the speed of the ignition I would guess the temp to be quite a bit higher, so 400 deg. C seems like a good guess.
I'm going to go with BB on this one.
johnsmith smokin today
that asshole machine doesn't even cut it for you. also lol making it easier for america to become FAT.
brb eating pizza from a vending machine ###YOLO
Why is there more elitism when it comes to pizza than any other food?
I think it's because every region has it's own "style"......which is what makes Domino's so ing good....it's the same everywhere.
WTF is that noise...Real Italian pizza is cooked in all kinds of ovens...
I doubt either of you are Italian or have Italian family that owns a pizzeria…Wood burning ovens do make a great pizza….Just not at 1000 degrees on the cooking side…
