I would hate to be a manager in this league.

They get all the bad rep.

Why all of a sudden are they asking for his head? When the Angels were underachieving all these past years nobody gave a . Now they do?

Wasn't too long ago where the Angels were the best team in Baseball, all the nutcases were quiet. Now they begin losing and they want him the out.

There are teams in worse shape right now.

I guarantee you a team like the Red Sox would love to be in the position the Angels are.

I was just about to say, only a small number of people even like that page. There's always plenty of irrational imbeciles in any team. Angels aren't even doing that badly

Wasn't too long ago where the Angels were the best team in Baseball,
Yeah it was only like 10 years ago. For one year.

Yet another season Fathead shoots Weavers ERA all to by leaving him hanging in an obvious off day. Gee Fathead, when Weaver does 10 or 12 straight games of 1 or 2 earned allowed you think maybe he is due for a letdown?

Fathead endorsed by both GM and owner.
    per LA Times:

Angels Manager Mike Scioscia appears to have job security

General Manager Jerry Dipoto says speculation that the manager's job could be in jeopardy is 'a distraction.' The Angels are in third place in the American League West.

BOSTON — Jerry Dipoto dismissed growing speculation that Mike Scioscia's job is in jeopardy, the Angels' general manager refusing to lay blame for what has been a disappointing season so far at the feet of baseball's longest-tenured manager.

"We're 3 1/2 games out in the wild-card race, but you'd think we were in last place," Dipoto said before Thursday night's game. "Quite frankly, it's a distraction. Mike has been the manager of this team for a long time. He has a very long track record that suggests he's qualified. I say, let him do his job."

The Angels, with a $159-million payroll and World Series aspirations, entered Thursday in third place in the American League West, 8 1/2 games behind Texas. The offense struggled for the first six weeks, and the pitching staff has struggled for most of the last six weeks.

But with a 2002 World Series le, five playoff appearances from 2004-2009 and a 10-year contract that, with three mutual option years, runs through 2018 and has more than $25 million remaining, Scioscia's job appears safe.

"I signed Mike long term," owner Arte Moreno told mlb.com last weekend, "and I'm invested in Mike long term."

Dipoto seemed perturbed that Scioscia's job has become an issue for some.

"I'm not going to get involved in any kind of drama," he said. "I'm focused on this season, our players, the staff, and the worst thing you can do is start pointing fingers. There's a sense of urgency. We need to think better, pitch better, play better. That goes for all of us, me and everyone in our organization."

Stacked Division sans Seattle (which is playing better now)
Chemistry issues with CJ Wilson and Albert Pujols
A predictably over aggressive manager who rolls the dice more often than he should and thinks he's god's gift to managers since he was a former catcher

There's 3 good excuses for Angel fan

    Nobody out.
Mr Aggressive Baserunner Coach has Trout on 1st, Ianetta on 3rd with nobody out and Hunter at the plate.
Elects to not have MLBs leading base stealer run.
Hunter strikes out. Pujols then strikes out as Fathead again parks Trout at 1st even when the count was 3-2.

    9th inning game on line.
1st and 3rd again with nobody out. Angels down 6-5. While i don't insist on a squeeze here it certainly ties the game. Instead Morales strikes out, Kendrick hits into a double play.

    Fathead.
