We don't have a democracy, we have a republic... in a democracy, there'd be no need to elect delegates because the polls would mean everything, tbh....
That being said, the RNC is indeed a huge scam - it's not a political convention anymore, it's now a taxpayer-funded coronation....

I'm not familiar enough with the finer points of Democratic Party politics to make a judgement call on that, but it wouldn't shock me if their conventions are just as corrupt, tbh....And the democratic convention isn't?

Well, from that angle, the ayes were much louder than the nays.
I'm pretty sure there's another video somewhere that captured one of the staffers saying "make sure the ayes are loud," tbh....
I'm making the point that the initial report that the noes were loader may not be accurate. Different microphone angles will pick up different volumes unless they did not form in groups, which they likely did. Of course a Ron Paul group will hear their immediate neighbors louder, on the noes, but those in the Romney camp were also likely in groups, and would hear their "yeas" louder.
Still...
These rule changes should have never happened during the nomination process. Worse yet, they should have been counted votes. Not voice votes.
We live in a dictatorship. This whole political board turns their head and ignores what is actually and truly right or wrong and instead they only care more about arguing red or blue. Same as with the majority of the damn stupid population in the country.
A fraud in front of our very eyes, and nobody gives a . That means they agree with living under a dictatorship, they don't want a free society and they don't believe in "real" rights and honest elections. Plain and simple. They get what they deserve. Morons.
Actually, no, the voice vote was a lawful part of the process... the proposed rule changes themselves simply shouldn't have been devised in the first place, tbh....

If you think the Republican party is corrupt no one is forcing anyone to support them. Calling this country a dictatorship is laughable, however.
The government is currently transitioning over to the russian model, they seem to like it. we aren't a dictatorship yet, but are the russians even considered that? even if technically, if you oppose putin you get put in prison but no they "elected" him right?
Yeah we're a dictatorship with a two term limit.
here's a conundrum for you to ponder:
what if a candidate were to clone themselves, would the clone be free to run after the original's terms are up?

Dictatorships run elections like what you just saw, well maybe you didn't even watch it. You and so many others ignoring what just happened is laughable. Sad, but laughable because it's just too damn ridiculous.
Everyone can go argue red vs blue in the other threads, because it makes so much of a difference, smh, or maybe it just makes everyone feel that much more comfortable. For the majority to admit what just happened and be fair in arguing against the fraud that happened would require too much honesty and work from most people, it would mean they would have to suspend their brainwashed ways of thinking red/blue and blind loyalty to the liars they support. Forget what's true, forget what's right or wrong. Let's keep America ed up, let's keep going to war, lets continue to give up our rights, NDAA, Patriot Act, RFID chips implanted in people in the future and on and on. That's red/blue for you whether you admit it or not.

I'm having the conversation and I'm dedicated to the truth and not being a blind sheep like most, I participate in demonstrations and much much more which entails a wide range of things to keep these injustices from being hidden.

I agree, but just the same. The rules should have required a count if there wasn't a notable difference in voice response.
Should and are, of course two different things.
Changing the game rules in the middle of the game is simple not tolerable to begin with.
