Distance yourself from them emotionally and physically.
How do you all cope with this? Fortunately I haven't lost any loved ones going on two years now...still, the thought of losing my parents or siblings depresses the living out of me. That old saying as it goes: "nothing lasts forever" resonates strongly but I find it hard to process this when it comes to losing family.
How do you all feel about this topic and how do you cope with losing loved ones?

get hammered, compartmentalize, and move on.
it sucks and will never leave you. the most mundane will remind you of them and theyll appear in your dreams every now and then even after 10+ years since last seeing them. eventually you become jaded, but dont dwell on it. the person who passed (most likely if they mean that much to you) would want you to go on with your life. all you can do is appreciate what/who you still have.

Kill them yourself. That way you know what was going through their minds when they left this place and that they will not miss you.

Have a belief in the afterlife. You will only lose them temporarily. You also will die someday and meet up with them. It is all good because it is the way it is suppose to be. The grand scheme of life will all work out in the end, the creator made it that way.
