Multiple false premises.
Altho he could coach circles around their current 5 years straight loser, not sure if Robert Horry is up to coaching an entire season.
Could the Spurs do as Marty Shottenheimer once suggested for himself, that being have Gregor Popovich coach the regular season then have Popped step aside when the games that really mattered came up.
Bob Horry for all year coach?
Bob Horry for playoff head coach?
Multiple false premises.
Has Fabbs sent a resume and a fancy cover letter to the Spurs yet, applying for the head basketball coach job?
If Robert Horry is more qualified to coach the Spurs than Gregg Popovich is, I'm sure Fabbs -- with the basketball intellect displayed here on a daily basis and the clear ability to persuade about these things -- would be able to quickly show the Spurs the errors in their ways and persuade them to give him the job.
On the other hand, Fabbs might not want the paycut, tbh.
Horry can only coach the final quarter of an important playoff game, preferably a road game at that.
The Spurs will on 10-72 with him as head coach in the RS and miss the playoffs.
You mean like, the difference between a Championship year and an exit?
And b.s. on Big Shot Rob only showing up in the 4th.
Robert Horry played defense through out the game, this only showing up in the 4th quarter is total BS. He may not have scored a lot throughout the game, but he played defense and did all the other little things throughout games that made a difference towards winning that game.
Exactly. He did small things like causing the offensive player to throw the ball away on an inbounds.
Only able to read one out of two sentences reflects the way you use your brain.
2 straight #1 seeds with barely over salary cap budget, 2 WCF appearances, 4 seasons ended due to injuries to key guys (usually Manum, aka Mr. Glass), 1 last year due to refs with Thunder jerseys underneath.
What a ty coach. Insert random ex-player who no coaching experience, that'll net better results!

That's the spirit. Cheer Pop on for #6!

If you can't coach height then I'm pretty sure you can't coach making-power-forwards-with-a-history-of-mental-lapses-fail-to-cover-you-in-the-playoffs.
Bob Horry doesn't bring down the rest of the team by having these softies in the game.
Nor on the roster.
Nor would any competent NBA playoff coach.
Like Larry Brown?
What?
Did Larry Brown overplay Mike FinleyPopper, Jefferson and Matty Bonner?
Extend all three and pay to the tune of 10-15 million a year?
No.
He put Rasheed Wallace on the floor and assigned to Robert Horry in the the waning moments of Game 5 in the Finals.
'Sheed being out of position* on one key play = 6 years of No Scola Mrs. FinleyPopper Soft BonBon NoSplitter No Talls?
*while i agree Sheed should not have double teamed, with 8 seconds on the clock was Sheed expecting another Piston to rotate over to BigShot?
Either way, 6 years of fertilizer = 1 play?![]()
