What is the best laptop?

I'm sure this has been talked about before so I am sorry if there is a big thread but I am looking for a laptop. One not too expensive. What is a quality one? I am moving and taking a desktop is stupid

if you have the money, macbook pro is great. if not there are cheaper windows versions, wait till the end of oct when windows 8 comes out and i bet you can get some deals on windows 7 laptops.

Yeah I have the money to spend on MacBook Pro but I will wait to see what happens over next few months
