DOGA...
I was wondering if anyone has tried this...My yellow lab has not been herself...She has been withdrawn, bored & seems to be suffering from depression....My veterinarian recommend a qualified Pet Therapist who gave my hound a fun personality test...
Like most Labradors she ranked very high...It was determined that she could take criticism and blame without resentment... seized most every opportunity to enjoy the natural world....was happy to eat the same food day after day...had no prejudice or discomfort WHATSOEVER with other dogs breed, color or beliefs...
Our Pet Therapist felt that she did not need medication to relieve stress or tension....What she need was more interaction with me...The Therapist recommend DOGA...It is a Yoga class for dogs & their owners...
Considering that I live in LA there was no problem finding a DOGA class near me...I am a little bit apprehensive considering that both of us will be novices, not know the Yoga positions and all...But I was curious if anyone has tried DOGA themselves?
No ....I hope you didn't pay money for this. Dogs are social creatures and need a lot of attention. I was skeptical as well...Until our DOGA instructor...”A Master Dogi”...Informed us that Dogs have always been natural yogis, and their tranquility of mind, ability to be in the moment, and contented outlook are widely considered to be the result of their long and devoted practice of doga....
