What the funk happened here? Also, what do you think of .US domain names?

I have a friend that has a terrible .com domain name, way too long, but a shorter .us domain is available.

I know you guys are tech savvy, but in general what do you think of .US domains? Do you think you might forget and put .com in the end accidentally?

I tried everything else and the only decent solution would be a .US domain.

never seen a .us name sooooo, that may tell you what you need. However, is it really something that people use often enough to type out each time, or are they going to do a google search for it, or even bookmark it.

I guess the way I use the internet, I wouldn't notice. Even if you tried to type .com, one of two things would happen. You would go to the wrong site, then back out and google search it, or it will automatically bring up a search results page.

for seo purposes alone u don't want a .us you want a .com .org or .net in that order
