    No question that Auburn plays really well at home, generally. But AU fans can be more fickle than, say, bama fans, for instance. Jordan-Hare can be really loud and imposing, but if there are 10k empty seats due to repeated bad losses...

    I'm really trying not to get manic about the Tigers awful play, but it's hard. The whole off-season smacked of a coach who didn't have control of his team, and I think you're seeing the results of that on the field. They pretty much gave up in the second half... Local papers and websites have been calling the MSU game Chizik's "signature" loss and fans are already calling for his head. Can't imagine it's much better on campus or in the locker room. 4 years of top 10 recruiting classes should be translating a whole lot better. My main question with ole' cheezit is why aren't these kids getting coached up? Why isn't there significant improvement? I really hope Auburn doesn't turn into one of those teams that stockpiles talent only to let it go to waste, a la Notre Dame
