Thought I would start a thread about tonight's debate.

I'm hoping the debate is focused big issues like the economy, foreign policy, and energy an not on distracting non-issues, like gay marriage, pot legalization, and abortion.

I have broken the debate up into some broad themes, which we will explore in more detail with the questions and discussion as the evening unfolds. I'd love Barry to go after Mitt who became unhinged and crazy when his primary opponents did it to him.

It's a silly product to sell advertizing. A totally useless, distracting charade that won't address the really important problems and questions.

I expect Gecko to lie and distort and sling stupid gotcha zingers, thinking that will get him out of the HUGE ELECTORAL HOLE he deserves to be in.

I'll be watching it and yeah, I know many totally dismiss the debates as nothing but talking points from both candidates but I still believe they can do damage if not handled properly. Obama has more to lose tonight as the opponent always gets a bounce after the 1st debate. So Obama has to be on top of his game tonight. Will be interesting to see how it flows.

I know who Stephanopoulos willl declare the winner -- he's pretty reliable that way.

NDAA, Civil Liberties and the Cons ution, Kill List, Drone wars and civilian deaths, Blow-back, war mongering on Iran same as Iraq, Occupy Wallstreet, Guantanamo, Federal Reserve, and Poverty (which nobody talks about) etc, need to all be discussed in depth...but they won't be.

And re ed masses across America will cheer thinking they've heard something wonderful and awesome from their fraud candidates
