I'm not really sure thin Diaw has in the past been a tweener with a streaky jumpshot that he is tentative about. Would like to see a Diaw that converted heavy Diaw's extra weight into muscle.
His face (and the rest of him) looks much thinner than it did this past summer.
Glad he's still motivated to contribute. I love Jax, but Diaw was definitely the prize acquisition last year.

Not sure if it has been a concerted effort on Diaw's part, but so far in the scrimmage and first preseason game; I've seen him be aggressive on situations where he typically would pass after making the move. I love when he catches the ball on either wing, fakes a jumper, than drives to the basket. (:45 mark in video below)
Diaw definitely looks alot thinner than he did last season. I can't wait to see what he and Jack can do in a full season...
1:15 mark. is that THE bobby brown? whitneys ex?
Didn't get to watch the game, these highlights were great to see![]()
Diaw being lighter will help him a lot on the offensive end. One of his issue last season, was that when he was open, he was too slow to take advantage of that with a drive to the basket. Most of the time it ended with an offensive foul. With a lighter and quicker Diaw, teams won't be able to let him as open as OKC did.
I'd think the weight loss would help against face-up 4s like Nowitzki, but might hurt in guarding someone like Pau Gasol.
Pau is actually kind of thin, for a big, nothing like the load his brother is.. Pau will more or less be on the perimeter, unless Dwightmare is on the bench.
Spurs got a new court design? Gary neal looks thin. So does diaw and blair
one of the 2 clowns and their team are not relevant this season
