Some surgeon and anesthesiologist were buying rounds for the whole damn bar. Closed it down then went and did some blow with them. they were still going at 5 when I left. Said the had a surgery to do in a few hours. I hope they called in sick instead.

I wouldn't doubt it. I had a co-worker that was studying to become an RN. He's an avid FB poster and he posts stuff he did the night before and there's no way I'd want him as my nurse. Im sure he's not the only one. He just better hope his privacy settings are tight.
I met a doctor who delivered a baby in a blackout. Lucky for him things went okay.
If he blacked out, how did he deliver the baby? Or does he just not remember doing it?

He doesn't remember doing it. That's what an alcohol blackout is. The person is still seemingly conscious, but they have no memory of their actions.
How does he know he was even the one that delivered the baby?
I would assume that attending nurses told him.
Why would they feel the need to tell him that? Wouldn't they assume he knew he delivered the baby?
