Quantum of Solace wasn't bad at all.
Casino Royale was in fantastic but Quantum of Solace sucked ass.
Daniel Craig even admitted it sucked.
Doesn't look that bad, unlike Quantum of Solace.

It wasn't the best but Q.O.S. wasn't horrible.

I remain skeptical, as I haven't been a big fan of the blond Bond era, but I'll say that the moment in the trailer where he takes a second to shoot his cuffs and straighten his suit as the train he's on is being demolished is the first moment in which I thought Craig has felt appropriately Bond-esque. Add in a bizarrely wigged Bardem as the (potentially eccentric) baddy, as well a vampy theme song, and maybe things are getting back on track.

I love Craig's Bond. Definitely looking forward to this.
Casino Royale is good, not great. Quantum of Solace does suck though (except for the opening scene which is badass).
did Brosnan quit Bond, or did Bond fire Brosnan?
A little from column A, a little from column B. If I remember correctly.
I think Brosnan signed a five-picture deal from the outset and as time went on was pretty clear about not wanting to be tied to the franchise for any longer than that. But after Die Another Day underperformed and was pretty universally panned by critics for both being a ty movie and for relying too heavily on out-of-date Bond cliches, I don't they would have asked him back for a sixth film anyway. The decision to take the franchise in a completely different direction was pretty explicit.
My 2 favorite Bond movies are: GoldenEye and Casino Royale, both directed by Martin Campbell.
Which I still question what happened to the Green Lantern, directed by Campbell. Had to be something studio related and/or script changes...
