I've always been a fan of Chandler, but he's coming off an injury and he's not a big name, tbh..his value is low, Denver wouldn't receive a substantial return..
Nuggs signed him to a big-ish deal (5 year, $37 mil), but they're too deep in the frontcourt to need a backup SF for that price with Gallo/Iggy/Brewer available. Ujiri has a record of signing guys and flipping them after Nene and Afflalo, if you were Denver's GM, what would you leverage out of Wilson Chandler?

As great as our FO has been since Melo went, resigning Chandler left me scratching my head. I understand they wanted to ink him when he came back from China, but did they really need to spend $37 mil on a gyu coming off the bench?
They're also gonna have to find enough minutes for him to increase his trade value, tbh..good and bad position for the Nuggets, an example of too much depth..
depth at the wrong spot tbh. he's not flexible enough to move over to the 2. I guess COY Karl is planning to run Iggy there to make minutes for Chandler. Could mean less Brewer, and I'm not sure I like that, Brewer is all energy.
who care its not like the nuggets are going anywhere anyway
I would dump him for whatever. Expiring contracts, 2nd round picks. It was a stupid contract and he's been ty since he came to the Nuggets. High volume shooter, no defense. They need to dump him as soon as possible if they want to keep Gallo, Iggy, and Lawson.
As much in future considerations as possible, as long as they can dump the contract.
