anything lonestar, be it lonestar or lonestar light, is plain .
I feel like there was a similar product awhile back, never tried it. Does anyone that works at a bar or own a brewery happen to know anything about this beer? Anyone even tried it?

Frats used to try and pass it off as Shiner back in the mid/late 90s. I haven't had it in over a decade though.

If it's the same think we used to buy in kegs in high school it's pretty damn good. Very dark and rich and little sweeter than Shiner.
Maybe someone remembers this more clearly than I do.....back in the early 90's Shiner Bock was everyone's favorite beer, but then I believe they changed the recipe (watered it down, doubled the price) and Lone Star began making that original Shiner recipe and called it Natural Bock. It was a good beer; I'll try this one too, I have nothing against Lone Star beer
