Timbo's is the best !

Slater's 50/50 -- where the bugers are composed of 50% bacon and 50% prime cut beef...
Longhorn Cafe, but only the original one on Blanco
i need to check out chris madrids.
Contigo in Austin.
Really? I thought that place sucked bad and was overpriced.
Also, I saw something sad there. The guy who was my GM when I worked at IHOP 12 years ago was the busboy at Bigz the one time I went.
The Company Burger in New Orleans.
Or Cowbell, though that's less a burger joint than it is a restaurant that happens to have really good burgers.
In Dallas my favorite is Goodfriend
crap supposed to be ELE'd for two weeks
why do all burger places insist on topping their burgers with the tiest iceburg lettuce available?
Chris Madrids is legit, they've been doing it for a LONG time! I was fortunate I grew up about 2 block from it.They also used to have a Joust arcade game that would eat your money
Umami Burger, Father's Office, The Counter, and The Apple Pan are also L.A.'s best place to grab a burger...
I used to love The Apple Pan when I live in the area. It and Pie 'n Burger in Pasadena were my favorites, but I haven't been to either in over a decade.
Just haven't been in the area or did you become vegetarian?
In N' Out still makes 'em pretty good for a chain...
Haven't been in the area. I grew up there, but my mom moved to central Cali at the same time I graduated high school and moved away for college, so without any family there I just haven't had many reasons to go back.
Ah, yeah, they still make them really well--though I have cut back on red meat...but I still get one once in a while. This thread doesn't help when you're starving haha.
I really wanna try this place; ever had the onion rings? They look great on the menu.
Yeah....as of right now Chris Madrid's is my fave. Nothing beats all that melted cheese on the cheddar cheese burger! The nachos are pretty damn good too...
If you are rolling I-20 through East Texas heading to Shreveport it's worth getting off in Longview and heading to the Butcher Shop. Not only are the burgers great but it is also a bakery that makes some next level desserts. They have a meat market too so you can get the burgers they serve and take some home with you.
you guys should try the habit burger grill.
You been to Maple and Motors burger joint in Dallas? Don't know if you could afford it with your salary but thought I'd ask anyway.
I'll give Goodfriend a try though.
You can afford it but I can't? Why? Do they only accept food stamps and Newport loosies for payment or something?
I've heard of it, def need to try it out. Also i hear good things about Wingfield's
