I'm not sure about the outcome of this game, just because they are all used to playing with the Big 3(Mostly Duncan and Parker), now without them, I hope they don't play like they just entered the NBA.

Hopefully they prove that they can operate without them, if needed. I'd love to see General Mills(get it like the food company, or did people already use that before?) control the game and honestly I'd like to see Blair play like he knows he can, he just needs a few games to reassure his confidence. Also Tiago needs to be more aggressive when being under the rim, he almost always goes for lay-ups instead of easy dunks, it would be nice to see him be aggressive with dunks in that manner.

We should already know about Green and Leonard, play the defense they know they can, grab as much rebounds as possible and hit those much needed 3's. Also Leonard needs to finish better, in certain situations.

Does anyone know if this game is on tv in austin? The only channel I know that broadcasts CW35 televised games is kbvo---which is a ty non-HD channel with even tier reception...

I hate when I see that CW35 is televising it because we get ed here in austin.

Anyone know if any cable channels are showing it in austin?

So it's official? Tonight's the start of the traditional "sit the big 3 because their too tired" strategy? I'll likely watch something else..

My prediction? The game will go a lot like it did last year, when pop pulled the plug(in Portland)...maybe a little closer game, maybe not. Either way it'll be chalked up as a loss. I'll be watching avatar 3d instead.

    9 CST.

I'd be pissed if I paid money to go to the game and Popsickle sat the Big Three.

It would be especially bad if he does it in Portland AGAIN, guys there might try to assault him or something. Besides no reason to sit anyone 5 games into the season, if TP was willing to play sick yesterday he'll play tonight, if anything Tim's minutes may be limited.

Pop got away with that last year because of a condensed schedule. That won't fly this year. Duncan will play or the the Spurs will probably be fined by the league.

I didn't like it until I bought it in 3d...it may be the best 3d movie out there aside from the animated films.

Tony Parker (stomach virus) and DeJuan Blair (left knee contusion) will not play in tonight’s game at Portland, the team announced Saturday. Stephen Jackson and Matt Bonner, both of whom missed Friday’s victory at Sacramento, are questionable.

Well then Mills and De Colo may both get minutes, will be interesting. If Mills could convince Pop that he can be a better back up PG than Neal that would be nice.

Would be nice, indeed. If Mills can win the backup PG spot and slide Neal over to the backup 2, they make a lethal backcourt combo off the bench if they are both clicking offensively.

Winning without Parker won't be easy. Tough break for Blair to regain his starting job and then get hurt. It's somewhat worrisome that it's a knee issue.

I saw Jackson wearing the military headband, so I'm guessing he'll play.

Yeah I feel like Mills should work on his handles when going fast and on cleaning his passing (last year he often tried passes that were too hard for him), "system assists" are enough for someone as quick as he is. In term of potential his celling is way higher than any of the others so it would be great if he could get the spot early to have time to get better as he get used to it.
