Not really. The massive suckage didn't start until 2003. Before that, the Raiders were one of the most consistent NFL teams, boasting the NFL's highest all-time winning percentage and routinely making deep playoff runs.
son real talk why is Oakland so damn cheap? they act as if they are some tiny market which is so far from the truth. the Raiders and A's still to this day in 2012 share a ty stadium together that hasn't even been renovated since 1995.
