If I recall correctly, Kerry had a negative bounce.

kerrys bounce didnt come in the popular vote, but rather the electoral college(state by state)
I agree Tommy Duncan, but it is still better then the huge 11-12 point lead Bush reportedly had last week.
It all depends on what poll you're looking at, Joe. They really vary too widely to pay attention to them.
