The Pats are the best at home team in December in the league, they are used to ..THE BIG GAME....a role the Texans are new to. The Texans stand no chance tonight, none.
Houston will also be in that unique third road game in a row. Can they win three road in a row, of course not.
Belichick and Brady at home on a Monday night in December would beat any team in the league.

Unfortunately for the Pats, yeah. Additionally, I expect this game to be very close so the fact Houston is getting +4 makes them a good bet imo.

I'm not gonna bet against New England. My rule is to never bet money on a team I cheer for because my optimism/pessimism leads to not viewing things impartially. The last time I broke the rule was the 2007-2008 superbowl and that didn't end well at all.
Well then you know all about NE in the month of December especially at home. There is no logical reason to see anything but a big NE win in this "spot".....none!
NE will have to turn it over, give up a big special team play or two and play a bad game for Houston to stand a chance, you know that.
Last year their December schedule was 2-14 Indy, 5-11 Washington, 8-8 Denver, 6-10 Dolphins, 6-10 Bills. The year before it was more impressive, but the year before was before their defense got so bad.
This year New England is 2-2 vs. teams above .500 and 7-1 vs. teams below .500 while they've had a lot of moments where they've looked a lot tier than the 2011 or 2010 team. It's stupid to predict what's gonna happen in this game based off New England being able to pound a bunch of weak teams.
