I just use my cell phone.
Anyone still wear one? Whatcha got on yo wrist clown?
Is is practical? Or is it something showing everyone how much money you make?
I just use my cell phone.
Fossil…It is not a watch it is a precision time piece…Most Fossils are under a hundred bucks & the company will change the batteries for free & fix it for free if it fails…
Fossil analog so I can remember how to tell time like a real man.
Also it is pretty.
I have blue, green & silver face...All cool looking...
Mechanical Swiss wrist watches. It's the mechanical aspect of these that still gets me. I have a good understanding and knowledge of electronics, IT and telecommunications, but a nice mechanical auto winding watch still amazes me.
I have several that I have slowly bought over the years, some old a few new. I currently wear an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean.
I wear a watch all the time. Started wearing watches when I was 15. I feel like something is missing and get nervous if I don't wear one.
You s with your Fossil watches. You realize you'll be off by a few seconds in a thousand years.
Same here Slomo. I always wear a watch.
Now this is a watch wearing mother er. Omega es.
Turning into a watch fiend, tbh:

Assuming the third watch is Movado. Classic look.
The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. Is a very cool watch…I have a friend that started collecting Rolex’s 20 years ago…He calls them pieces of crap as far as accuracy is concerned…![]()
I don't think I would ever wear a Rolex tbh. Seems like a bag watch.
Like Porches, Don’t confuse the watch with the owners…The watches are a work of art…
I see guys wearing those huge mofo watches.
Those things are no different than parachute pants. Don't buy a watch as a fad. Buy a timepiece that you would feel OK wearing in 10 years. Regardless of if you plan to buy another watch before then.
Yes they are. You can pick up really cheap (cheap by Rolex standards) vintage Rolexes in Geneva and in Zurich, but you need to know your stuff - the good models are of course crazy expensive.
I also don't like how they look, I have maybe seen two Rolex watches that I thought were nice.
I would not wear one because of many reasons, but I would love to own one just for the technical/legendary aspect of the oyster case. I saw a beautiful Yacht Master one once with a blue dial, my enthusiasm faded when the guy pointed out that the housing wasn't inox, but white gold...
So yeah, I appreciate the brand, but will most probably never own one.
You are correct. A Christmas present to myself.
I normally like an all metal case and band but Breitling makes some good looking watches...

I would just beat the crap out of watches back when I wore one. Crystal would be all scratched to within a year. I quit wearing watches when I started carrying a cell phone 24/7 that also works as a clock and an alarm. It just didn't make sense.
Watches still make sense for me. I keep my cell phone in my pocket so it's much easier to glance down at my wrist to see what time it is than dig in my pocket and pull out my cellphone past my fat wallet.
Yeah, it's weird to 'casually' whip out your smartphone in the middle of a meeting at work.
Just a fashion accessory at this point in time. No need in wearing a watch for to tell the time unless you dont own a cell phone.
But I used to be a fan of Fossill, now I prefer the Kenneth Cole Unlisted collection.
I don't know what the you're getting at. It's a pain in the ass to pull out a cellphone sometimes. If I'm in my skinny jeans and driving, there is now way, I can safely pull out my cellphone to check the time.
