The problem with LA is that they attract too much attention. They weren't nearly as y and full of themselves in 2009-10. The 2010-11 Heat attracted so much attention, and we all know how that ended

^^ This team had zero hype despite going 57-25 and fixing the center problem that was around for years.

Like what I always said: The Fakers wouldn't have won final two les if Gasol wasn't there.
So they are who thay are now - when Gasol is aging now.

The Clippers have the best record in the NBA for a reason. While Griffin tends to disappear in the playoffs Paul is a superstar, Billups if healthy will have good games for sure, so they have chances.

About the Lakers, Nash and Gasol make everyone better, if they get to play to their strengths which is the quality of their front-court plus Kobe and Nash's shooting, they have chances too. But honestly speaking, they are way too slow for OKC or the Heat.

During this streak, the Clipps have played many squads but with that said, they're beating those squads. Something the Lakers can't do when Bryant and Howard were leading the team. They have a nice test coming up with the C's on Thursday and what's funny is that in many of their games, the starters have been sitting out the 4th quarter. They've sat out of nine games which means fresh legs for Griffin and Paul.

Lakers need to stop trying to run with teams. They were getting smoked by the Warriors when they were playing that up and down style but as soon as they slowed the game down and went to a half court set when the starters were out in the last of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th, they made their run. Play more half court and run when they have the chance and they can do much damage.
