I had them going 67-15 before the season
Not even if they won out from here-on out.
I had them going 67-15 before the season
I had them at about the 53-57 win range. Sean Elliott had them below that, but ESPN loves to suck and hype. I did, however, have the Heatles winning about 65. Looks like that's not going to happen, either.
I thought at worst the Lakers will end up with atleast 55 wins this season, boyy, i might be wrong, most likely, lol.![]()
I thought the Lakers were gonna make the playoffs
Forget 60, i doubt they hit 40 this season. Pretty amazing when you consider the $100 mil payroll.
They have 2 max players in Gasol & Howard, 2 mid $8 - $9 mil contracts in Nash & Artest & an uber max $30 mil in Kobe. I say blow this sh!t up.
Vegas had their O/U at 57.5
They would have to go 41-1 to hit the over![]()

MWP :
“We definitely want to beat the Bulls record and go 73-9, that’s definitely something that I want to do. Whoever is out there at the beginning of the season then we gotta get it. It’s as simple as that. We just have to go get it. (Host: So that Bulls record is something you’re thinking about?) No question. You try to snatch records before you leave this earth. You gotta try to do a lot of great things so it’s definitely a goal. With Dwight Howard, (Steve) Nash, Kobe (Bryant), myself, Pau (Gasol) and then (Antawn) Jamison and a lot of great additions it’s something that’s possible.”
The fact they may not make the playoffs is incredible, no one thought that before the season started, even knowing that Nash and D12 were with injurie issues.
They are going to set are record of wins/payroll.
LAL = the most talented 17-23 team ever in NBA history - at least on paper.
Even if the lakers put together a second half record that matches the record the Spurs put together in the first half (30-11), they probably will miss post season. lol
