    Ken Berger @KBergCBS One option for Gasol is rehab, with estimated timetable of 6-8 weeks. Surgery would mean 10-12 weeks, with better chance of full recovery.

    Fantastic news.

    His trade value is now pretty much non-existent. The Lakers lose all their skill in the post and a good amount of depth considering he was coming off the bench. Now all we need is for Earl Clark to realize he's a scrub and we can officially plant the tombstone over this 100 million dollar catastrophe.

    Yup, the season is lost anyway, and he doesn't have much future in as a Laker anymore, better get fully healthy with the most probable method so you can secure your future when opportunity presents itself.
