'American Pie' Actress Files for Divorce

Shannon Elizabeth who played a sexy foreign exchange student on "American Pie," has filed for divorce from her husband of three years, according to court papers.

Elizabeth, 31, had been separated from her husband, actor Joseph D. Reitman, since early March. She filed for divorce Wednesday in Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court do ents. The two have no children.

Elizabeth broke out with her role as the Czech student Nadia in 1999's "American Pie" and in its sequel, "American Pie 2," opposite Jason Biggs. She has also appeared in "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" and "Scary Movie." She currently stars in the UPN comedy "Cuts."

Reitman, 37, has appeared in the films "Drop Dead Sexy," "Choices," and "Bum Runner."
