Don't be, I just saw Deleverance last night
I was born in Texas, and I've spent twenty five of my twenty-eight years in this great state, but I have a confession to make.
Until this very evening, I have never viewed "The Best Little house in Texas.
Jesus, I'm almost ashamed of myself.

At the music festival in my hometown of Weert, The Netherlands I saw a US band called "Hayseed Dixie" perform that one song from the movie!

I have Lived 19 of my 19 years in Texas and I haven't viewed that either.

It's a silly movie, but it's based on a true story. I think that makes it required viewing.And my grandparents get the station where Marvin Zindler used to work. I can still hear his grating voice: "Marvin Zindler... Eye Witness News!"
I've never seen it either and not ashamed to admit it.
Don't be ashamed, the movie SUCKS and just because it has the word TEXAS in the le doesn't mean you're unpatriotic. But then again I HATE ALL MUSICALS!!
