Nando should start. CJ off the bench.

Nando is the only one who can semi-create for others.

I'd prefer Nando to start, and Pop bring Patty off the bench.

Neal's also an option that Pop can go to.

In some alternate universe "evil" Matt Bonner is donning his eye patch and getting ready to do work. Hopefully we get a steady dose of Mills, De Colo and Corey Joseph but it'll end up being Gary Neal and circle gets the square.

Nando should have won the backup PG role outright after the Miami game tbh. He's the least flawed out of him/Neal/Patty/CJ. Pop's really mishandled the backup PG role so far this season. Sure nobody has stepped up and seized it but it's tough when Pop flip flops every game.

I'd prefer Nando to start while TP is out, and he will be out a while IMO.

    amen!

i vote nando, the spurs need him to fill the void in assists. although, manu did put in a pretty good application tonight.

i hate to say it... but if pop is gonna play blair over baynes. he might as well keep manu in the bench squad with him. blair can't defend, but if manu can keep him goin' point for point... gwah! that idea is difficult to type.

I prefer nando starts. My gut days Pop wants to start Neal, but with Neal being hurt I guess Nando will be the starter for the time being. Hopefully CoJo gets some burn. I think he's good enough to steal the show if given a legit opportunity

My vote goes to CoJo...runs the sets, plays D and doesn't turn the ball over.

Mills off the bench w/ Manu.

This. Though I'm starting to think Nando will need a year to be fully "comfortable" being an NBA player. But I think Nando will start, though Pop might bring Manu off the bench a little earlier, and in general do a 'point guard by committee' type approach while Tony is out.

Not after the way he's played these last three games. Patty Mills has outplayed him in every one of those games. Even Cojo outplayed De Colo tonight...

It doesn't matter who's outplayed who when Gary Neal is healthy Pop will go to with him.. that's more tragic than the sprained ankle. If only someone can see the master plan that Pop has envisioned with Neal at PG and Bonner on the team.

I'd like to see Joseph get the nod but would be fine with De Colo. So long as its not Neal starting.

I never understood why he didn't outright win the position after that game. I know Pop likes to experiment, and I don't blame him, but Nando really could've used the extra time/momentum. Still, it doesn't help that Nando sometimes can't shoot for .

I'd prefer Nando to have the spot since he has the best overall court vision, then CoJo, Mills and finally Neal. Neal has more of a heroball problem than TP.

Seriously, I think Bonner has photos of Pop doing something he doesn't want getting out and he shares this with only a few souls on the team, that's the only explanation why they get the minutes they have and why Bonner is still on the team. Gary Neal is Roger Mason Jr. 2.0 except he can occasionally hit a 3 pointer outside of the bubble screen. Its okay though because next year the Spurs will draft another shooting guard and send them down to the D-league and repeat the process over again.
