    Regular season games mean more to a team fighting for the 8th spot than a team already at the top of the standings.

    But ya know Spurfan doesn't need a completely logically consistent reason to take a jab at Lakerfan...it's one of the pleasures of being a part of one of the respective fan bases.

    Where has the #1 seed gotten you lately? I recall getting ousted by an 8th seed, then a backdoor sweep the following year. Am I wrong?
