    To me, NBA on CBS during the 1981~82 & 1982~83 (regular season only) has been the best. But I cannot get that theme anywhere. Could anybody tell me where I could get that theme/music please?

    That one always reminds me of Dr J and Magic. Roundball Rock reminds me of David Robinson and Michael Jordan.

    BTW, good job of including the OLD TNT music, and not the current music. Whoever decided to write a musical theme in 7/4 time should be kicked repeatedly in the balls.

    The one before this.

    This theme began with the 1983 NBA Finals.

    I was talking about the CBS intro that was used during the 1981~82 season and the 1982~83 season prior to the 1983 NBA Finals.

    NBC followed close by the CBS one...

    Even though this is NBA specific my all time fav is probably the old NFL on CBS in the late 80's early 90's w/ Vern Lundquist or Pat Summeral narrating.

    NBC and John Tesh is the worst...I liked the CBS stuff the best followed by TNT.

    IMO the best is the Roundball Rock theme on NBC.

    2nd best is the FSN NBA theme

    I would put the ESPN one above the FSN theme. The ESPN one brings back playoff memories. Living in Laker country, the FSN theme just reminds me of the Lakers, so its an instant downgrade
