With all the injuries, the conundrum becomes weighing rhythm and chemistry entering the playoffs vs. health..

How should Pop manage minutes, going forward?..

Tank for the 3 seed to get GSW
It doesnt make sense. #1, #2 or even #3 shouldnt tank for opponent in 1st round. 2 round matchups will be tough, and then HCA will count. I would want to avoid Memphis in first 2 rounds.

Keep big players minutes around 30mpg to keep them in rhythm but not too tired.

Rest Parker whenever he needs it.

this. but lets also not let rust become a big factor since the first round is likely going to be tougher than the joke of a fight Utah put up last year. We could end up against the Rockets or Lakers. Although I'm sure we can dispose of either, we're going to need to be healthy and in rhythm. Last year we were on an absolute tear heading into the playoffs. Not the case right now, so we can't afford to just limp into the playoffs. I'd just put a minute cap of 30 on Tim/Tony, cap Kawhi at 35, and give everybody else anything they can handle.

It's getting to the point the Spurs shouldn't care bout what seeds they get 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.. When healthy I think we're the favorites to win the west and at least make the finals compe ive.

I'd rest Parker until last 2 games

We've gotta play Kawhi since the Jax injury..but try limit minutes if possible

I'd limit Duncan's minutes to no more than 30min

Honestly.. I would be on board with pop resting Tim Tony and manu for the rest of the season.. maybe playing duncan VERY limited minutes to keep him fresh.. To give kawhi the keys and nando more experience.. cuz it looks like we are REALLY gonna need those 2 in the first round

Don't play Parker until it's clear he's not going to quit or just play like he doesn't give a .

Make Kawhi the first or second option on offense at all times. Without 9 or 20 thats gonna be really important.

    Baynes.

Don't worry about playoff seeding. Call up the Toros and sit your playoff rotation for the remainder of the season.

He should definitely play Baynes instead of Bonner. Mr. Greshwald the 7th grade science teacher/boys basketball coach knows better playing Bonbon.
Don't play Parker until he is completely ready. Period.

Give Duncan some games off between now and end of reg.

Being healthy and fresh for the playoffs is really what matters.

Chemistry isn't really an issue because most Spurs have played a lot together and I don't believe you can lose your rhythm by playing less during 10 days.

If Spurs can get healthy for the playoffs, I think they can find their momentum in a matter of minutes. The players have a great common past, there is a great system and players with a high BBIQ.

Yeah most years I probably wouldn't says this, but I'm down with Pop benching the starters till the playoffs start.
