10 Million dollars to do nothing in the regular season? Sounds overpaid to me.

I can't believe people here still have the nerve to complain about Jack's contract given the alternative.

The alternative was to trade it as an expiring.

We're coming to the end of this phase of the Spurs. Next year might actually be IT.

No one is going to trade us a good player's expiring for his ty one, so the alternative is more years at that salary level. Wasn't going to happen.

that, the alternative for me was keeping Richard Jefferson and a pick. Addition by subtraction and it's given Kawhi more time to blossom. Also Jack was one of the few people to show up against OKC. He's in that Horry regular season cruise control.

its hilarious how he speaks so differently for NBA interviews than when he was on that radio show this summer

but hearin the things he said... f'n love this guy. i can see why Tim was calling him the ultimate teammate, and whatnot. great locker room guy

also, not sure how official his word is, but promising to hear he's so confident Manu won't miss time in the playoffs

Can't wait until he is off the team. We might as well have Ryan Richards, with him here. Washed up, injured player = Scrub, get over it.

And who would they have been able to trade that expiring for (that was available) that was going to help the team?

Pretty funny video. Was hilarious how that guy was really timid about bringing up the overpaid list when he first asked the question. You could tell he was afraid of getting stole on for a second before growing the pair to just ask him about it.

With half of ST ting on Manu and cutting their wrists, I'd say bluing the text would be a safer bet to get your message across, tbh.

I figured the Ryan Richards reference would have been obvious enough, but okay, I shall remember for next time.
