i always knew you were hot.
103.3* in the shade and under an awning.
I'm sorry. but it's hard to appreciate that # while i sit in a tub full of ice in my a/c'd apartment.
soon as sweetpea wakes up i'm going back down to the pool.
And that is why I love my all utilities included apartment. Leaving bottled water out keeps it cold enough - muahaha.
I'm going to go out, wash the car and perhaps go walking in a bit...with water of course.
I believe we've reached Dante's 4th ring of . We still have a bit to go...![]()
Yeah, I hate to tell you guys but the weather is hear to stay. The only good thing I can say is that at least you're not in Del Rio.
Don't be acting surprised people!
Yeah and this is only July. Imagine what August and September will be like.
more of the same..not much hotter....what is the difference betw 99 and 101?
This heat ain't ...wait till some of you get down here.
and the closer you get, the hotter S y gets!i always knew you were hot.
South Texas has four seasons.
Kinda hot, hot, damn hot and Summer.
Smokin' from what I've heard!
This is no indicator of what's going to happen in August or even the latter part of this month. I haven't looked at long range models, but this ridge has to break down eventually.
When it was 112 in Sept back in 2000. THAT was hot
Ahem....anyway...(btw, Chopper, I gave up smoking a long time ago)
I saw in the paper the other day that they aren't predicting any rain at all for this month.
We are actually in a similar pattern in south Texas to that of 1998. Get ready for another "500" year flood...
it's not a big deal really, unless some of you are posting from a laptop at the park?
we are all inside, in a/c most likely. this is texas weather baby.
i like the sun. i wouldn't mind some rain, or some more clouds in the sky, but as long as it's not humid, i won't complain.
get your outside exercise in the morning or late night if you are smart.![]()
Yes...my walking posse and I went last night about 8:30pm and it made a big difference.
If this pattern means anything, it means a really lessend chance of Tropical weather hitting Texas because everything gets moved torwards the middle Gulf states.
But well, thats about it. That, no rain, and HEAT.
Yeah man, that was ridiculous. 112 is not fun.

In 1998, we had a wet initial winter/early spring, it stopped raining in March or so, a ridge of high pressure set in & didn't really go away until November...when it rained 20+ inches in 8 hours from a tropical depression that decided to camp out over the weekend on South central Texas.
As long as you haven't given up the occassional Chopper Sandwich everything is just fine and dandy.
zero degrees C (34 F) this morning here.
