Westbrook and CP3 ahead at the point position. Have to think the late injuries dropped Tony a bit.

The "late injuries" had nothing to do with it; being a Spur had everything to. I'm not going to pretend there's a significant gap, but at the same time, I see no credible argument for Westbrook being better than Parker (nor Bryant, who's had an excellent, albeit overrated, offensive season, to go with a pathetic defensive season).

Westbrook is a borderline top 20 player.

I honestly don't care where Tony ended up, but Westbrook is the definition of cancer and should not sniff the top 10 as long as he continues to take more shots than a four time scoring champion.

    Westbrook in the top 5.

Proof that you don't need a functioning brain to be a sports analyst. One of the stupidest things ever written on BSPN. Westbrook shouldn't even SNIFF the top 10.

Refsbrook is the only one of the top 10 who is liable to literally stab a teammate during a game. Like, with a knife.

Can you imagine Westbrook without the Reflahoma stat boost? He'd be a rich man's Monta Ellis and wouldn't sniff the top 10.

Doesn't matter what anyone writes, its all a big joke. ESPN being ESPN, tony is fine at 7 but Carmelo at 9? Yikes, they just picked names random from a hat. It'll be fine when the luster of OKC fizzles out in the next 4 or 5 years and they become just another team.

Kirby checks in at 4. When was the last time a player considered to be top 5 missed the playoffs?

CP3 is overrated as well. He gets shut down HARDDDD... I dont think there is a worse player against a good defender than CP3. He goes GOAT on poor defense though.

WB is too high imo because hes inconsistent, and ive seen TP get shut down a fair bit this year against lengthy D.

WB is such a crybaby which is masked as compe ive. I don't think Durant should be higher than Kobe either.

Factoring this season + past performance IMO:

    1- Lebron

    2- Durant

    3- Wade
    4- Paul
    5- Anthony
    6- Bryant
    7- Duncan
    8- Howard(healthy)
    9- Harden
    10- Westbrook/Parker

The top of the NBA is at a weak point from 3 to 11, Lebron and Durant are a level or two above the rest of the players, tbh..3-11 is interchangeable..

I wouldn't want Paul as my best player, but as an individual overall player, he's top 5..

Agree with Harden above chimpbrook and Parker (Duncan is equally as good as Parker btw), but Healthy Howard? Might as well put Rose in there at #5

As a side note, Wall and Irving should be top 15. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Wiz and Cavs make the playoffs next year, with the Hawks falling apart.

Howard has been great in the 2nd half of the season, he's been their most important player during their resurgence..

Rose is a borderline top 5 player when healthy, but I'd have to see him return first, especially with his alleged mental concerns..

    Irving is stupidly overrated.

Lead his team to a 24 win season.... great..

He should be on the And1 team.

    D. Rose is a coward, he's been cleared for over 2 months and won't step on the court but may show up in the playoffs to eat up minutes for someone who has actually played.

    Gotta love the comments:

    On Duncan at #10:
    (Referring to D12)

    On Kobe at #4:

No , if any players chuck like that in their prime and played no defense, they would have been yanked by the coach before the end of the first q.

to which elicited a fantastic response from an intelligent gentlemen
