Bottom line is.... Duncan has anchored an NBA best defense without Kawhi. If this is what a Kawhi anchored defense looks like....

If LMA and West are gonna be our rim protectors...

He can recover pretty well, and has good reaction timing (IE the block he had on KD opening game) to make up for it, but yes, quick guards/wings get by him a decent amount of the time. So there isn't any confusion, I'm not saying he gets blown by like Tony or somebody, but he's no Scottie Pippen, , or Danny Green even(when he's locked in).
