Meh...Lebron is a s bag. Not sure why there are so many fans of his on this board. He seems to be unanimously despised on every other NBA forum board ie RealGM.

LeBron is pretty much loved by majority of NBA fans. I never liked him but I have to admit he' s lretty much flawless right now on the court. No one can match his skill level.

Care to elaborate why you don't like him. I don't know that much about him off the court. I'm not a huge fan of his since he left Cleveland, but I still like his game on the court. I always like guys that pass and try to make the right play most of the time, but I have no idea what kind of person he is off the court.

Care to elaborate why you don't like him. I don't know that much about him off the court. I'm not a huge fan of his at all, but I do like his game on the court. I always like guys that pass and try to make the right play, but I have no idea what kind of person he is off the court.
Same reason millions of fans despise him? As I said I'm not a Kobe defender so mentioning how Kobe is a or rapist really doesn't bug me. With that said, I was a fan of his talent until 2008 when he started this new image and mentioned how he was the captain of Team USA and it was "his team" despite the fact that that particular year, coach K asked for the best of the best in the NBA to help Team USA win. I wasn't bugging over it but it slightly irked me to hear that arrogance, none the less I had a ton of respect for his game.

Then in 09 when those Cavs were dancing during games all the time, and celebrating during games ALL THE TIME, and then when they lost he acted like a complete . Not so much the not shaking hands with Dwight but the fact he came out and made the most re ed statement in NBA history and said," when you're a winner you don't shake someones hand that beats you up." I have no idea WTF this guy was talking about but if Joe Frazier and Muhammed Ali can show respect after killing 90% of their brain cells and leaving themselves handicapped after a fight, this guy could act marginally respectful after a year of arrogance and dancing.

Then 2010, that really was the last straw for me. The way he decided to mentally check out of the series against Boston and when he couldn't be relevant in June he decided to announce a special for the sake of "The boys and girls club." Yes, it was nice it raised a few million dollars and I'm happy for those children but we all know Lebron's doing the decision was ridiculous. I have no problem that he left the Cavs, but that special was a display of how out of touch the guy was with reality.

Finally, joining Dwyane Wade to win a championship (no problem with Bosh, he did the right thing). I thought it was the most embarassing thing, and unlike most NBA fans, winning a ring or two wont change this fans opinion of Lebron James. He copped out, ed out, he did NOT wanna be the MAN on a team. Say what you want about Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic but they were THE MAN on the team. It wasn't even debatable. Talent wise, he is 100 x the player Dwyane is, but I would be criticizing Michael Jordan the same amount if after 7 years of not winning in Chicago, he reached out to Clyde Drexler and asked if he could join the Blazers. I would be laughing my ass off at all 6 of Jordan's rings with Clyde Drexler and say despite him being a legend, he ed out and didn't want to be THE MAN on his team.

Again, it's my criticism and I'm sticking to it. I'm not saying Lebron wont go down as a legend, but he did it the EASY way out. I think this is a wide spread belief by MANY NBA fans and even the big 3 (MJ, Magic, and Bird) agreed about Lebron's gotery by joining Dwyane Wade. But alas, we live in a country where if you win a few championships, people jump on your and pretend none of it happened IE Kobe Bryant being the most despised athlete before 2009 then one of the most loved in the world by 2010.

Not everyone is as fortunate as Jordan or Magic that their franchise can deliver or join as a rookie in a stacked team.. Lebron gave cleveland enough years and all they could come up with were players like Mo Williams ? are you serious who wouldn't jump ship, I know kobe would, else he was the new barkley (top 20 all time but ringless). and if you think lebron isn't "THE MAN" now in Miami you clearly don't know much.

    UNCLE-DREW going HAM, per usual

Lebron is going to win MVP and finals MVP in the same year two consecutive times, while Kobe hasn't even done it once. To say he's not the man in Miami is extremely stupid.

Those other sites are full of salty Knickfans and the same type of Lakerfan that frequents LG, so it's not a surprise LeBron has so many haters on those boards....

Has anyone ever lived up to the hype more than LeBron? I mean ESPN was televising this dude's high school games while he was a junior, there was so much attention on him at such a young age and he's been every bit as good as promised.

Just because you donated millions of dollars, doesn't change the fact you're an egotistical prick. It just makes you an egotistical prick that did something nice for the sake of your own ego. You really think he cares about those kids more than the average human being?
