Davis will probably be the best PF of the post-Duncan era
go down as the best PF post Duncan.
Just look at all the regular season "big games" (per my arbitrary definition of 25-15) he's had "relative" to the players "unfairly" labeled as the three best PFs of the past 3 or 4 years! And he's managed to do that in one year. Just imagine all the "big games" he's going to have when he finishes his career relative to those other players.

Midnight with the subtle, 21 ings/Deuce Bigelow style thread.
^Pretty sure the purpose of this thread was to kill Deuces. Which it did tbh.
I'd agree. Pretty hard to beat Timmy. In my opinion Davis doesn't have the frame or the skill to be even near Tim's status in the league. Are we considering KD a small forward then?
Duncan didnt have a lot of big games, midnight.
Deal with it!
I'm no Spurfan apologist but the OP just took a on all the Duncan haters in this forum
Looks like it'll be either him or Blake, tbh.... Aldridge has fallen off, and Love was overrated to begin with, has regressed, and is injury-prone....
Blake would only be in consideration for his offensive skills, Love for his defensive skills.
Love has defensive skills now?![]()
Defensive skills being his incredible rebounding ability, not his 1 on 1 defense. Really there isn't a lock down big defender in the league right now.
He blatantly pads his rebounds though, often shoving his own teammates out of the way to grab boards....
Captain Croissant
Al Jefferson needs to be a lot higher. He's a beast.
best defensive PF since duncan maybe, and he's not even that good a 1on1 defender as is suggested by his monster rebound numbers. dude's a limited shot blocker and an average big to play p'n'r with imho. would be a perfect 2nd banana but you never want him as the #1 on a le contender, being a gasol-caliber player is his ceiling imho
Wishful thinking. Blake will never have the skill level to carry a team.
stating the obvious but ok.
isnt love considered the biggest "stat padder"?
nope, he is not. let him be on a good team and he wouldn't put up these numbers
